Sports and Fitness

Adapt believes that physical fitness, good nutrition and wellness of the mind and body, are the road map to leaving your best life.
Sports activities are offered which provide our athletes the opportunity to compete and /or enjoy leisure recreation, based on the interest of the athlete. These activities are offered individually or in a group/team setting.

With the support of our dedicated Exercise Physiologist, each athlete is accessed for their fitness goals and interest. A healthy eating plan and nutrition guidelines are developed with each athlete, to support maximum performance.

Sports activities are provided in the community, where athletes can develop rapports and friendships with other New Yorkers, who share similar interest. Our athletes participate in physical fitness activities across New York City and New York State, including Adaptive Crew (rowing) in NY Harbor, Adaptive Ballet, Water Skiing, Scuba Diving, Championship Winning Basketball team, Cheerleading, Golf Team, Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, Zip Lining and Off-Road Quads , Track and Field, Swim leagues, Indoor Sky Diving, Skiing and Snow Mobiling, Bowling leagues, Deep Sea fishing, Dog Sledding and Horse Back Riding.
